Yanbu Fish Market. My favorite place here in Yanbu.
A weekend by the beach.
The morning of my second weekend (last Friday) here in Yanbu was spent taking photographs. With me was a colleague who currently is the only one here who has the interest in photography (afaik).
When viewed from afar, this beach (actually, most of the coasts of Yanbu) isn’t that attractive. Nevertheless, given in that state, I already liked it. Looking closer, I thought I loved it.
When we arrived at the site, there were couple of families starting (or some had been there since the previous night) to settle picnic mats.
I/we were extra careful since I have this notion that this place is a tiny bit less touched by western ideas that many, especially the older folks, might not welcome public photography well. We didn’t have any problem. Also, the 300mm I borrowed from colleague was really sneaky.
More to come.
