As some of you would recall, I joined a photo contest here in Al Khobar more than a week ago. The results were just posted on the page, and luckily, one of the two photos I submitted made it in the top ten (out of 60).
As mentioned, the popularity system —the most ‘liked’— did not bear any points and weight to the final judging. And although I did not pursue to bug you to like my entries, your initial support especially the nice comments were valuable to me. So, thanks a lot to you who supported!
There. It was a fun experience. It sincerely was. The organizer really did a great job especially with the programs held in the hotel during the opening day. I got to see the ‘Mayor’ of Al Khobar (which I did not realize existed), and watched traditional, festive, performances.)
In other news, I am temporarily ‘signing out’ of the Eastern Province and the Persian Gulf. I am going back to the city of Yanbu, in the Madinah Province by the Red Sea, and this time, it will be for quite a while. (I am a bit busy preparing and packing so I am a little less active here). Longer, so, I hope to discover more of that ancient city.
Again, thanks a lot and see you around.
