The last month thru mobile.
A much needed break. Twenty-fourteen continued to be busy and the long-awaited vacation finally came. Fourteen months after, I finally had the time to go back to my homeland and refresh.
The journey to the exit was made dramatic (subjective) by a road travel to Madinah from Yanbu with all the topography new to me —my eyes are accustomed to luscious green mountains.
It takes about two hours in average to get to Madinah from Yanbu.
Rocky, jagged hills and mountains for travelers.
Just one of the many mosques of the sacred city of Madinah. Madinah, or Medina, means ‘city’.
It took two hours of air travel from the Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport (MED) in Madinah to get to Dubai International Airport (DXB).
After fifteen more hours or so, the coasts of the archipelagic paradise started to outline.
An invitation for arriving passengers. Taal Volcano, which contains the Vulcan Point, “an Island within a Lake on an Island within a Lake on an Island”.
These are from my Instagram (http://instagram.com/elrizjohn) where most of the activities I had and the I places visited have been first posted. Still, I hope to write/log more about this recent vacation in the coming days, to show the bigger picture.
It was finally time again to chill and relax, meet old friends, eat foods not present in the Kingdom, explore some new places, fall in love with the same scenic landmarks…
It’s been a while.
